Software Engineering Intern | Computer Science and Engineering Graduate
I am a candidate of Software Engineer who graduated from Sabancı University with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I enjoy building practical digital products and turning ideas into polished, user-friendly experiences. My interests span both frontend and backend development, with a particular appreciation for designing thoughtful interfaces and solving problems with attention to detail. I see myself as someone who enjoys creating meaningful things and presenting them to people, and I am continuing to improve my technical and design abilities as I work toward a career in software and web development.

Developed and evaluated deep learning models for remote sensing scene classification, focused on domain generalization across geographic regions. Worked with satellite images, data preprocessing, model training, and performance analysis to investigate how well models generalize to unseen regions.
Built an LLM-based fault localization prototype for failing mobile and web UI test traces for Automated Debugging course project. The system normalizes Playwright traces, analyzes action metadata, screenshots, network logs, console logs, and failure descriptions, then ranks the most suspicious steps with evidence-based explanations. Implemented with Python, LangChain, OpenAI/Gemini models, evaluation scripts, and a static results visualizer using Top-1, Top-3, and MRR metrics.
Built an NLP system for graded word sense plausibility prediction in ambiguous short narratives as a Natural Language Processing course project. Fine-tuned DeBERTa-v3-base with PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers, implemented regression and pairwise ranking loss experiments, and evaluated models using Spearman correlation, Acc@std, MSE, ranking accuracy, confusion matrices, and precision-recall analysis. Ran experiments on an HPC GPU cluster with Slurm and contributed to error analysis and final reporting.
Developed a cloud-deployed mobile messaging application as a Cloud Computing course project. Built the frontend with Expo, React Native, and TypeScript, and implemented a Spring Boot REST API backend connected to Amazon DynamoDB for persistent storage. Containerized and deployed the backend on AWS ECS Fargate behind an Application Load Balancer, with ECR for image hosting, CloudWatch for logging/monitoring, and CloudFront for the deployed web frontend. This project represents the cloud-enhanced version of the Howudoin application.
Developed a quiz website for Web Programming course project using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), featuring randomized geography quizzes with 10 questions per session. Implemented user authentication via GitHub OAuth, persistent quiz history tracking, and a dynamic leaderboard displayed on the homepage to enhance user engagement.
Created a messaging application for Mobile Application Development course, enabling seamless communication through a Spring Boot backend and a React Native frontend. Implemented backend functionalities including authentication, friend and group management, and real-time messaging features.
Built a full-stack e-commerce web application for Software Engineering course project using Django and React. Developed essential online shopping features and created a modern, user-friendly interface to enhance the overall shopping experience.
